In obedience to God’s will and his divine calling, Reverends Hosie and Ruth Scott founded the Foundational Truth Bible Study Ministries  in January , 2015 as a Systematic  Bible Study.  The first worship service was held on December 6,  2015.  FTBS is Christ-Centered, Prayer Dependent, Disciple Developing, Community Building and Outreach Oriented.  Community Outreach includes volunteers for the Freehold Homeless Men’s Program,  Sponsorship of the Crop Walk for Hunger, Co-Sponsors of the Freehold Community Christmas Event that  provide food, and toys for the community.  

 

Community activism includes membership in the Greater Freehold NAACP of which Pastor Hosie Scott serves as  Vice-president.  Other participations include: MLK Observances, March For Our Lives, Action Network March on Washington, and forums with local and state elected officials.  FTBS is also an affiliate with the Freehold Clergy Association, The Seacoast Missionary Baptist Association, and is a partner with the Jersey Shore Worship Initiative.
